Morro da Urca
 

The Morro da Urca is the first stop before reaching the Sugar Loaf mountain by cable car. It stands 220 meters (660 feet) of altitude and offers many different levels of routes, as well as beautiful sights of the coast of Rio.

Tips: Wear comfortable clothes, sunblock, sunglasses and a cap for sunny days.

Location: (south side) – Urca (D1)

Arco Íris (does not lead to the summit)

Pão de Açúcar

The Pão de Açúcar  mountain stands 396 meters (1200 feet) of altitude and is one of Rio`s most famous post cards. There are many options of routes, ranging from level 5.4 to level 5.10a (U.S.A). A ride inside the cable car on the way down to Morro da Urca is mandatory and tickets are not included.

Tips: Wear comfortable clothes, sunblock, sunglasses and a cap for sunny days.

Italianos e Cepi (the last 120 meters are done on steel cables), lead to the summit.
